Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is undertaking a multi-billion dollar, revolutionary update to the ground transportation system at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the busiest origin and destination airport in the world. This important and high profile program known as the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), consists of several major projects, including a Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility. The ConRAC will relocate existing rental car companies into one consolidated, convenient location adjacent to the 405 freeway with a direct connection to the airport using the automated people mover passenger (APM) train.
